DevSecOps Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer that is passionate about automating, developing, and executing DevSecOps best-practices, serverless architectures, and integrated security automation. We leverage multiple cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.

  • You have 3+ years of experience architecting, automating and maintaining enterprise scale cloud solutions.
  • You have extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code and pipeline automation (ex. Terraform, Puppet, Chef).
  • You have background in Linux or Windows administration and bash or PowerShell scripting.
  • You have knowledge of secure coding practices an understand how to embed security controls and processes in the CI/CD pipeline.
  • You have experience with source control (i.e. Git) and can create jobs and pipelines in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, AWS CodePipeline, or Azure DevOps
  • You have experience working in Agile environments and applying automation techniques with multiple teams and deployments

  • You have certifications in any of the major cloud providers.
  • You are able to quickly adapt to new technologies and services offered through cloud providers and integrate those into your infrastructure or pipeline.

What your day will look like

  • You will work on multiple R&D related projects
  • You will lead DevOps team members in implementations.
  • You will build, secure, and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations
  • You will work with Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, and Developers to facilitate the flow of continuous development through a secure, stable pipeline
  • You will support and develop new and innovative automated solutions and scripts

Candidates have to be able to commute to Reston VA 3-4 days of the week and 1-2 days in DC.
